About the bikes

Alium's manufacture

Alium bikes are assembled in our shop according to the configuration of your choice. They are based on an aluminum frame equipped with a belt transmission. This is a high technology solution, silent and clean, which has proven its durability. We have chosen to have 8 speeds in the hub. As for a gearbox, you can pass the different ratios, which enable a large range of possibilities. The gear mechanism is protected from dust and water, which avoid too frequent greasing operations. The belt doesn’t change location and doesn’t get out of the rail. All our bikes have solid tyres, which avoid pumping and punctures. Numerous years of R&D have been necessary for this innovation and the balance between firmness and softness is optimized. Finally, each bike has a dynamo in the front hub which enable a constant electrical supply for front and rear lamps.
